This enables the immune system to mount a response. Survival rates of these 15 women was similar or exceeded conventional methods. In conclusion, not everyone responds as well as Jimmy Carter. But, the architecture for treating cancer is clearly changing. Rather than kill the cells, the medications augment your immune response.
