Amazon’s eBook program is called Prime Reading, and it is 100% free for all members. It is like Amazon Prime’s version of a private library for all of its members.
The catalog includes more than 1,000 books and magazines, and there are even audiobooks that you can listen to for free.
Just like an actual library, you are borrowing the books. There is a limit of 10 titles at a time. Once you are done with a book, you will have to return one first if you try to add a new one when your library is full.
Another benefit of Amazon Prime Reading is a program called Amazon First Reads. This gives Amazon Prime members a sneak peek at books from certain authors before they are released to the public. You can get one of these sneak peek offers each month.

You can explore the Amazon Prime catalog on the Amazon website via a web browser. Just make sure that you are signed in to your Amazon Prime account.
You can also explore the Amazon Prime Reading catalog in the Amazon Kindle app. It is available for iPads, iPhones, Android devices, Windows PCs, and Mac. It also comes with preinstalled on Amazon Fire tablets, according to Make Use Of.
You will see the Amazon Prime Reading section on the home page in the Amazon Kindle app. Just tap on See All so you can start exploring the full catalog.
There are several ways that you can browse the Amazon Prime Reading catalog. You can choose a title to see the product page wherever you are scrolling through.
On the product page, you will see the Amazon Kindle eBook listed as free for Amazon Prime members. Just click or tap Read for Free, or you can go for Listen for Free if you want to listen to an audiobook.
The eBook will then be added to your Amazon account, and you can download it to read on your Amazon Kindle app or your Kindle device.
If a free eBook has an audiobook, it will automatically be added to your Audible account. You can download the Audible app for iPad, iPhone, or Android, but it is preinstalled on Amazon Fire tables. The audiobooks can also be controlled via voice commands on Amazon Echo devices.
Amazon Prime Reading may not have the biggest library or the most features, but it is a great perk. If you want more eBook options, you can get Kindle Unlimited for $9.99 per month.
Amazon Prime members originally cost $199. However, Amazon just announced that it would be increasing its annual price to $139, according to CNN.
The monthly Amazon Prime subscription price will increase from $12.99 to $14.99.
