The Kano State Government says it would prosecute any meals truck driver seen conveying individuals from different components of the nation into the town.
The Managing Director, Kano Road and Traffic Agency, Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, mentioned the meals may also be confiscated.
The state authorities closed down all entry factors into the state to cease the unfold of Coronavirus.
Dan’agundi mentioned the company had noticed that drivers have been violating the current order geared toward stopping the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Kano by transporting individuals from outdoors the state into the town.
He mentioned, “Henceforth, house owners of products coming into the state are directed to ship alongside an agent who would be certain that drivers conveying their items achieve this with out carrying passengers as any car conveying items and passengers can be impounded and the products confiscated.
“Truck owners are also urged to warn their drivers to comply with the Kano State Government directives and desist from conveying people to the state until a time when government deems it safe to reopen its borders to movement of people.”
