As the unfold of the dreaded Coronavirus illness continues, the Delta State Government has raised issues over neighbouring states but to shut their borders.
Addressing journalists over the problem on Monday, Commissioner for Information in Delta, Charles Aniagwu, stated, “Our neighbouring states are yet to close their borders and this poses a serious danger to us in Delta.

“If Anambra and Edo are but to shut their borders and Delta has performed that, it poses hazard to us.

“The Federal Government should order the shutting down of the nation to avoid more infections as far as the COVID-19 is concerned.

“We are interesting for cooperation particularly from most of the people. Let’s all comply strictly to the security measures outlined to this point.”
